Shyam Band, established in 1997 by our founder Shri. Kanubhai Kachhiya. Shyam Band is one of Kalol’s finest authentic and specialized in performing processions at festivals, weddings, and other high profile events. The band group is as big as 50 musicians consisting of musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds, and play a range of instruments including, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, clarinets, dhol & other traditional Indian style leather/fiber based rhythm instruments and percussion. The concept behind the band is based on traditional bands from the Indian sub-continent which are an integral part of the Indian culture and play an essential role at any high profile event such as Indian weddings, religious festivals, social events of importance and even jazz festivals. They are regularly seen marching through the towns and villages dressed in their unique eye-catching outfits.
